The C-max U2, the powered stairclimber wheelchair, has been designed to safely and effectively transfer people up and down stairs. On level ground and on stairs, the C-max U2 proves its versatility. Due to its compact dimensions, it is easy to manoeuvre even on very narrow or winding staircases and safely accesses all types of floor coverings including wood, stone, metal and carpet.

The operator uses little physical effort to handle the C-max U2, together with adjustable hand grips this ensures an ergonomic operating position. With the unique braking system engaging automatically on the edge of each step, variable speed control and the single step mode operation, the Cmax U2 creates a safe and controlled ascent or descent.

With one full charge of the maintenance free battery the C-max U2 climbs up to 500 steps, depending on the passengers weight. To secure the Cmax U2 into a vehicle, two CEN 1798 compliant mounting brackets are available. These have been crash tested and approved by MIRA. A 12v or 24v in-vehicle charge is also available. As standard, the C-max U2 is supplied with a safety belt, 3-point harness, headrest and folding CD oxygen cylinder holder.
